In 1909 Alexander Cowie used his most rare and special aged stock to create his own private release - a whisky he called Cowie's Blue Seal, a symbol representing the utmost quality. The barrels he chose were what he considered the best of the best-the select few among the brilliant Mortlach reserves - these were the stocks he deemed worthy of the 'Blue Seal'. Today, we've resurrected the symbol of the Blue Seal to mark our 20 year old release. This rich and beautiful single malt whisky is made from the barrels deemed to be of exceptional quality from the Mortlach reserves. A combination of Refill Casks with ex-Sherry casks allows the rich, robust spirit of the beast of Dufftown to come through, while growing in complexity and mellowing over 20 years to an elegant, balanced combination of pepper and cinnamon spice with smooth, mellow vanilla oak.

Classic Cut 2021 is a single malt whisky with a sweet and ginger flavour profile. The liquid has a sweet lightness and deep complexity created through a combination of ex-bourbon, and The Macallan's renowned sherry seasoned American oak casks. The expression reveals flavour notes of gingerbread, fruit jellies and marzipan and provides an ideal platform for a refreshing whisky cocktail.

A soft, smooth and mouth-filling texture, oaky-dry at first, brings out layers of richly fruity flavouring which a lusciously sweet taste of ripe green apple is enriched by exotic hints of grape spirit and sweet coconut.

This Lagavulin 12YO is deceptive with its inviting golden hue, at first taste this rare beast growls gently, teasing with lemon, salty, sweetness and roasted tea. Intense blackened wood stalks the palate before a long, warming and dry finish, roaring with chilli pepper and great waves of smoke. A classic Lagavulin twelve striking in every way. Aromas of freshly-polished oak, savoury meat, redcurrant jelly, heather, mixed herbs and lime fill the nose. The palate offers notes of vanilla, spicy oak, roast meats, pepper and hints of sweet honeysuckle that linger in the finish.

The Dalmore 15 year old was first launched in 2007. Matured in Matusalem, Apostoles and Amoroso Sherry casks, it proffers all those winter spice, orange zest and chocolate notes characteristic of Dalmore.

To create it, Glenmorangie gather the silky, fruity spirit from their giraffe-high stills and let it steep in American oak casks. No less than 15 years later, they transfer a portion into Oloroso sherry casks for three more years. Once 18 years have passed, Glenmorangie reunite them to create its warm balance of sweet, floral lushness. This is a wonderfully rich and complex single malt. Opening with rich and spicy aromas of crème brulee, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon, intensely fruity notes follow - fresh pineapple dressed with a scattering of sun-kissed lemon zest.
