Glenmorangie Original 12 Years Old is Glenmorangie's signature whisky reimagined, to make it more delicious than ever. Aged for a further two years, it is even smoother, creamier and more luscious than The Original 10YO. Part of the Cask Editions range, it showcases how carefully selected cask types from around the world complement Jura's balanced character. Matured exclusively in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, this single malt delivers fresh layers of ripe citrus, vanilla and coconut, followed by apricot, creamy toffee and a touch of poached pear, cinnamon and cocoa. This Lagavulin 12YO is deceptive with its inviting golden hue, at first taste this rare beast growls gently, teasing with lemon, salty, sweetness and roasted tea. Today, we've resurrected the symbol of the Blue Seal to mark our 20 year old release. This rich and beautiful single malt whisky is made from the barrels deemed to be of exceptional quality from the Mortlach reserves. A combination of Refill Casks with ex-Sherry casks allows the rich, robust spirit of the beast of Dufftown to come through, while growing in complexity and mellowing over 20 years to an elegant, balanced combination of pepper and cinnamon spice with smooth, mellow vanilla oak.
